Session One

The PCs gather at the Brogden Wedding along with 600 other guests. During the reception, they find themselves seated together, along with Vycter Shepherd and his children.
Just before the cake was to be cut, a series of explosions racked the station. Guest were directed to go to emergency shelters. Vycter, who had access to higher priority feeds, determined that they needed to get off the station before it became a deathtrap. He offered the PCs Cr10,000 each to get him and his kids to the shipyards.
Before they can do that, Captain, Averyn, Scruffy, Andromeda and Gable insist on retrieving items from their room. While waiting for them in the lobby, Morgan has to convince the staff trying to send them to the emergency shelters that they will proceed there shortly. Those who went up to their rooms encountered some staff, but were largely unbothered.
After Captain, Andromeda and Gable arrived back in the lobby, Captain and Morgan got into an argument over whether to leave without Averyn. Morgan managed to keep the discussion going long enough that Averyn arrived, and group departed for a tube station. They were quite successful in talking themselves past several security patrols directing people to emergency shelters.
Arriving at the tube station, they found no trains available, so Vycter told them they would need to use one of the maintenance cars/tubes. They encountered a worker leaving the maintenance section, so Andromeda tried to sweet talk him into letting them in. Had she been alone or with fewer people, it probably would have worked, but the large group behind her freaked him out, and he ran off, but not before sending a call for security. Fortunately, security had their hands full, and didn't answer the call immediately.
Captain, with Averyn's assistance, was finally able to get the tube station maintenance door open after 30 frustrating minutes, the habitat ring starting to fail beneath them in lurches. Once inside the station, Morgan jumped on a console and called a car almost immediately. On the tube ride, the group further discussed their plan to get to the shipyard. Vycter found a maintenance airlock that they could go to.
Once at their destination tube station, they avoided a security patrol, and began making their way towards the outer habitat ring hull towards an airlock. They encountered another pressure door they needed to get past, and once again Captain and Averyn went to work. This time they got through the door faster, and just in time - a security patrol happened upon the group - everyone but Vycter and his daughter Deyanna managed to slip out of sight. Fortunately, just as the patrol called out to them, Vycter kept his head and closed the door behind them.
On the path down to the airlock, they have to avoid some deck damage, and some thrashing, sparking electrical cables. Maneuvering around the gaping holes was relatively easy, but getting past the thrashing cables was a bit trickier. Vycter's son Kayden got a mild shock and Averyn got a pretty good one that burned her.
The group scrounged up 5 vac suits and a number of survival globes as they approached the airlock. Captain, Voryn, Tsaru, Gable and Scruffy suited up, and the rest climbed into survival globes. Once out in hard vacuum, Captain and Scruffy tethered everyone together, and began the space walk towards the shipyard, and Hull A67-5309, the Luminous Class ship that Vycter had picked out for them.
As they crested the hull of the habitat, they got a look at the debris and the deteriorating condition of Centerra Station. While trying to avoid some debris, it cut through the cable securing Vycter to Captain, and Vycter's survival globe began hurtling away from the station. Captain started to go after him, but Vycter and Averyn pointed out that he should have several hours of air, and it would be easier to go after him in the ship. A little bit of course correction, and the group resumed their course towards the ship.
At the last minute, Captain realized they were coming in too fast, and some truly brilliant maneuvering by both Captain and Scruffy managed to make it a nearly perfect “landing” on the hull. Vycter remotely unlocked the airlock for the group, and they boarded the ship.
